Wow, when you say potent you are not kidding . Okay so I used too much the 1st time and all the fluids pushed up into my upper eyelid. I actually looked like someone gave me a black eye. I had to drain the lymph lymphatic fluid from my eyes and I could actually feel it swishing away. It was so much. It's doing something and I will continue to use just in small doses moving forward. Not sure why but it is pulling up or out the dark circles and my eyes have more of a darker circle that has moved up to my upper eyelid. I'm going to trust the process and post more pictures at the end of the month because stuff is moving so hopefully that means it's healing my problem rather than camouflaging my under eye bags and dark circles.
All I can say is weirdly disappointed. I ordered the 'hyper potent eye bag' ointment which was rather expensive and this arrived in the mail. I'm not sure if they missed some ingredients or the batch was bad ?? But definitely not what was expected or what was paid for. I have sent an email to Froya regarding this. I had previously used the face ointment which was fine and I liked using every couple of days - it gave a nice glow - so I thought I'd try this one to use around the eyes but it has been a huge disappointment and to be honest it looks gross that I don't even want to try it or put it near my face/eyes.
Sadly, I don't have a 'before' photo, so a current photo is not really useful, but I will share it nonetheless. I can heartfeltly say that this is the best product I used for my dark circles in a long, long time. My skin is pretty good for a 56yo. I have no wrinkles, just fine lines underneath my eyes and on my forehead. But dark circles have plagued me my entire life, as they run in the family. For most of my life my under eye area looked so dark, people thought I was permanently bruised. Huge, purple bruise-like appearance, often prompting stares from strangers and the occasional awkward question about how this happened. I used to apply concealers every day, and none was strong enough to cover the dark circle, instead caking under my eyes and exacerbating the fine lines. Not to mention the thousands of dollars wasted in recent years trying every product on the planet, from cheap to outrageously expensive, that claimed to help with dark circles. Currently, I am yet to finish my very first jar of Froya eye cream, and the results achieved in a few weeks are insane. As if a magic sponge wiped the darkness away. I still have a few lines under the eyes, but more than half of them have completely disappeared. I have now subscribed to the face regimen, hoping that I will see the same results. I'm getting compliments on my skin, which has never happened before. People usually guess my age incorrectly, thinking I'm younger than I am. Now, they're way off! I like how this feels on my skin and I can see the difference!
I just started using this about a week ago. The full results will take time and I'm willing to try it for a full 60 days. But I did notice within the first week that my undereye inflammation has calmed down, the skin has softened making my eye concealer go on very smooth and look a lot better, and the skin overall looks better. So I'm happy with that and excited to see how it continues to work.
